Goodbye and Good Riddance 2007: Heaven's Just a Funky Moose

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2007? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

D'oh! After confirming that Emily was indeed my Secret Santa, I totally forgot to come in here and thank her! I got some nummy lavender jam (verra tasty on bagels with cream cheese), an awesome red bandanna with white-and-black skulls on (perfect for post-ride hair), and pretty black-and-red knitted (crocheted? I don't know these crafty terms) bracelets. Thank you, Emily!!

But you emailed me! No problem at all -- I totally forgot about this thread until I got Matt's package!

Crocheted, yes. I did the first one, then realized it was too small to fit on my hand and I didn't know how big yours were, so I did another, larger one. This is the problem with doing things without a pattern.

And by the way, because I realize I never described it, I got not only Farscape Forever, but also Anansi Boys, along with a Kang (or, well, I suppose it could be Kodos, now that I think about it) bendable keychain, in a package filled with crackers! (And a totally excellent Tom Cruise card, I must say.)

Glad you liked, Emily! I looked all over the city for a spider muppet to fit both books, but even Spencer's and Hot Topic gave me no love.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Dear Seekret Santee,

My deepest apologies for my slackness. I shipped your goodies today via priority mail, so they should get to you by the end of the week. They are contained inside the currently popular "tube" packaging.

Jon B. was it me? I got a tube from Somerville MA! First there was hard-core dark chocolate, so that resolution about no chocolate for a month, will be postponed! And Mexican chocolate with cinnamon! but that was just the warm-up!

I got 5 Blue Sun travel posters! One is for Serenity Valley Park, one for Persephone - The Gateway to the 'Verse, one for Tranquil Miranda, one for Londinium, and one for Sihnon! And they're gorgeous!

I must put frames on my shopping list! Thank you, Seekrit Santa!

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

'Twas you, quester! So glad you liked the posters, and always happy to put the kibosh on a misguided New Year's resolution.

Also, I don't know if you noticed, but the chocolate is from Taza, who are based right here in Somerville.

Compassionately intolerant

Jars, since it has been exactly a month past the day I mailed your secret santa gift, I'm outing myself. I found the receipt from 12/27 but cannot find out what happened to the box after it left the post office.

The fellow at the counter told me that I could track via the customs label but that has turned out not to be the case. (for reference, that number is #LC60358090US)

Please let me know if it ever shows up. I'll try to replace the package when I can. I'm so sorry.

Oh, bonny - that's not your fault! Stupid post office. It's nice enough to know that there was a package, and that you put that effort into it.
