Goodbye and Good Riddance 2007: Heaven's Just a Funky Moose

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2007? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

Glad you liked, Emily! I looked all over the city for a spider muppet to fit both books, but even Spencer's and Hot Topic gave me no love.

Dear Seekret Santee,

My deepest apologies for my slackness. I shipped your goodies today via priority mail, so they should get to you by the end of the week. They are contained inside the currently popular "tube" packaging.

Jon B. was it me? I got a tube from Somerville MA! First there was hard-core dark chocolate, so that resolution about no chocolate for a month, will be postponed! And Mexican chocolate with cinnamon! but that was just the warm-up!

I got 5 Blue Sun travel posters! One is for Serenity Valley Park, one for Persephone - The Gateway to the 'Verse, one for Tranquil Miranda, one for Londinium, and one for Sihnon! And they're gorgeous!

I must put frames on my shopping list! Thank you, Seekrit Santa!

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

'Twas you, quester! So glad you liked the posters, and always happy to put the kibosh on a misguided New Year's resolution.

Also, I don't know if you noticed, but the chocolate is from Taza, who are based right here in Somerville.

Jars, since it has been exactly a month past the day I mailed your secret santa gift, I'm outing myself. I found the receipt from 12/27 but cannot find out what happened to the box after it left the post office.

The fellow at the counter told me that I could track via the customs label but that has turned out not to be the case. (for reference, that number is #LC60358090US)

Please let me know if it ever shows up. I'll try to replace the package when I can. I'm so sorry.

Oh, bonny - that's not your fault! Stupid post office. It's nice enough to know that there was a package, and that you put that effort into it.

I could just cry.

I read in your profile that you like silver jewelry, so there was a nice bracelet and some silly other things...and now I'm afraid that the customs xray may have made it too attractive.

Still, I'm hoping the box just went on walkabout and will ultimately find its way to you.

Heavy sigh.

hip deep in pie

You know, a month is not unheard of in International Post, especially around Xmas time. I sent something to Kat in the second week of December, and it arrived in LA only 10 days ago.
