Goodbye and Good Riddance 2007: Heaven's Just a Funky Moose

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2007? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

Did I say 14? I meant 4.

Yeah, that's it. It was 4!

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I just said Goodbye, but not Good Riddance, to the last of my fruitcake from Anne.

Well, I guess I can do a wrap up, since there isn't much left to this year.

Overall it's been a pretty decent year for me personally. I continued to work on some health-related issues, I got to make new friends and stay connected with old friends, and I got to actually get off my duff and exercise which led to completing my first race ever!

This year wasn't a great one for my dad, although there is a plus there too. After six months of being a hospital patient, he has been deemed well enough rehabbed and no longer has to go back to the hospital! He will still need some PT, but he can do that from their local guy. He has made SO much progress since I was there in October.

2008 will be the year for me to continue working on that finding a significant other thing. I will also have some possible work upheaval, as one of the people I work with is driving me completely batty. This may possibly be the timing to truly start my own practice. I am also trying to figure out how many triathlons I can participate in for 2008. I'm going to aim for 3; in for a penny, in for a pound and all that. I will also need to be doing some running races. All in all I expect to be quite fit at the end of next year.

Um, Lee, I have DVDs too. Wanna borrow any? Or anything else?

Wow. I just happen to have Due South. What are the odds of that? t snerk

Seriously, I was joking about the gift hint, but not about the offer. If you send your snail mail to my profile addy, I'd be happy to send you them. I think I may have even had your snail mail in the past, but finding it at this point would be amazing. And I might even get the DVDs to you in a reasonable amount of time! Maybe.

Hee. I actually have Due South on my netflix list, and it's even close to the top, so I think I'm good, but thanks!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I got a "we missed you" slip in my mail box today. I went out shopping and I did not get back in time to catch the mailman. And now I can't pick up my Seekrit Santa present until Wednesday. ::thinks positive:: At least my Christmas will last a little bit longer that way!

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I've been meaning to watch Due South...

I rented the series from netflix last month! I know, how could I have not watched such a great series? I was so obsessed with my Fraser immersion that my family asked if I was still watching "that Canadian show." Little do they know I've started recording Corner Gas just to spite them. I can't help it. I'm addicted.

I've loved reading the seekrit Santa stories on Christmas Eve. Often said, but never enough: You guys rock!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Watching Due South has been kind of bizarre for me as I was introduced to Paul Gross by Slings & Arrows so I keep finding myself wondering why Geoffrey Tennant is being so polite.
