What? I'm not allowed to hit people? Wesley: Not people capable of genocide. Angel: Those are exactly the types of people I should be allowed to hit!

"I am the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world"

Yeah if we were playing Family Feud and you guessed drugs I'm pretty sure it'd be the first choice. Coincidently all the other choices would be drugs as well. Heh, go figure.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hello everybody. I haven't been around since the holidays hit, but I've been missing y'all.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I just read about the Christmas day fight at Amundsen-Scott South Pole station. My SIL's brother is working there. I would not be at all surprised if he was involved.

The cats and I spent just over 9 hours in the car yesterday and arrived home late last night. They don't seem to be mad at me though. For about three hours this afternoon Gilda was curled up on my chest and Rosie was snuggled up to my feet.

My trip was pretty low key and relaxing. The high point of Christmas Day was playing Twister with my 8 yr old (and 5' tall!) nephew. My brother LEAPT for my camera when I agreed to play that game.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Muppet has been extra-special clingy since I got back from the Catskills. Chumley is pretty much his neurotic self (he's convinced that we'll send him back to The Shelter if he screws up enough).

Is this a normal work-day for any Buffistas?

It's not for me, but I make up for it by starting a 3 course schedule at my school. On paper, it makes all kind of sense, but I'll have 11 hour days (with breaks for lunch and supper) on Mondays and Wednesdays... yeek.

Now tagless for your comfort.

DH has to work today but he's taking my van in to get the oil changed--his work has a service so he can just park it in the garage and it will be ready when he gets off of work.

Today, I am making potato leek soup. Comfort food ahoy!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes, that's a long day, Theo.

My office is open today, but I don't know who is there. Not me!

information libertarian

We are going to the zoo! Here's hoping the Dillo does not decide to make it an "I object to my car seat" sort of day, as the zoo is 90 miles away.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I'm at work. In fact, all four members of my team are here, including my project manager, who couldn't sleep and came in at 6.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I couldn't get to sleep last night, so I slept late this morning. But I have to go to work. Which I'm leaving for now....

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

If the internet's going to be this slow all day, I'm going to die before the end of the workday.
