I think I just woke up and tried to arrange a dog visit for one of my friends. It's possible I need to stay off pain meds, or at least be restricted from the world while I'm still within reach of their very strange claws.

Can't nap! Must be at job site all perky at 8. Gnaargh. Sleeping the night through would have helped, rather than waking up at 12:30 convinced it was morning and time to go. Needless to say that wasn't the only time I woke up. It's just that when I woke up at 6:13 I wanted to cry and roll over back to bed.

I'm taking care of the upstairs neighbor's cat and she didn't even tell me the cat's name.

Poor kitty. I have, in the past, included pictures of the cats with their names below them for cat sitters, so they'd know who was who. But usually my cat sitters know my cats, so it is mostly a joke.

I've been caught by not giving enough information. My cat Pico occasionally wheezes. It happens so rarely that I forgot to tell my neighbors about it when they were cat sitting. And then he started wheezing in front of them, and they freaked, and I didn't even give them my number where I was, so they were worried all weekend and not sure what to do.

How good is a unicorn's horn for stabbing puppies anyway? I mean, it's a spiral horn, so you'd have to twist the puppy around to get it off....
