Overwhelming? How much more than whelming would that be exactly?

I think I may attempt Sephora after work. But I'm going to buy alcohol first and smoke a bunch of cigarettes before I go inside, and hope like hell I don't get arrested for assault.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm not even going to get paid for working today yet I'm sitting here fretting over emails people haven't replied to yet.

Everything I have to do is preparing environments for people, but they are so skittish about telling me what they need, yet eager to complain they haven't gotten it.

Such is, I guess, the way. But my head hurts and I want a new way.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am totally playing hooky tomorrow, and I'm psyched about it! For no apparent reason, I was so tired this morning that my eyelid was twitching. Bizarre.

We had our holiday potluck, which was quite nice, with unbelievable quantities of food. Ridiculous amounts, really. So I guess we'll all get lunch for the rest of the week, too. We all howled when, at about 2:30, the CEO said we could leave whenever, and "Happy holidays!" Everyone was like, "We don't have to come in for the rest of the week?!?!?" Yeah, not so much.

it is the mindreading that is giving you the migraines. You must file an OSHA report immediately. And for workers' comp.

I was so tired this morning that my eyelid was twitching. Bizarre.

this is me, about 1/3 of the time.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That Screamers hat is adorable!

Warning: This trick? Some kids never grow tired of it. But trust me, you will.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

ita, are you going in at all today? You poor woman. I think the two hours in thing instead of just work from home is bullshit.
