That's like when we got the bill from dad's last hospital stay & we still owed something like $750. Uh, yeah I know he spent 3 weeks in ICU dying and they need to get paid and all, but yeesh.

Are you serious Kat? What is it about mom's who can't let go of their own issues? I hope I'm not that kind of mom when my kids grow up.
I am tempted to fax my University transcript to my father. He keeps expressing surprised that I have completed my undergrad degree. "Oh, you are done?" Meanwhile he is pushing K-Bug to apply to Harvard. I shake my head at that man.
Obviously K's mom is going through something. But she's causing interfamily stress and turmoil. And granted, there are issues for her to have: K's dad bought a new house with a ton of land without ever telling K's mom. He just expected her to be happy to move out here.
I want that bird.
Luckily not every time I go to the hospital is stuff fucked up, because I go more than once a week these days (I'm going to avoid that this time, or die trying). But you'd think they'd get the hang of it--my insurance info hasn't changed in months.
Insurance companies piss me off in so many ways.
I am in grading hell. How is it possible that some of their papers got worse from the first to second draft? I could weep.
