He stuffed an 18lb turkey with a goose, duck, mallard, guinea fowl, chicken, pheasant, partridge, pigeon and woodcock - producing a remarkable Russian doll-like dish.
Which would make it a Turgoouckallardineafowlickenantridgeoncock?

Bwah! On the inevitable x-post! (Mine took longer than Kat because I had to sit here and sound it out, slowly.)

That really, really looks like a foul curse.
Long story short: She's divorcing K's dad, and selling her house to move closer, but not too close, to her own family in Louisiana. She has no job lined up and no plans on where to live etc. The only arena in which it pisses me off is that when K graduated from undergrad, she made a big stink about K not going to the graduation. K's masters grad ceremony is 12/21 and we are here in cold-Larry- Craig-ville to go the grad ceremony. Is K's mom going? NOPE. She's leaving for destination unknown on 12/19. Gr.
oooph, Kat, can you blow off the bill or do you have to pay it?
That's like when we got the bill from dad's last hospital stay & we still owed something like $750. Uh, yeah I know he spent 3 weeks in ICU dying and they need to get paid and all, but yeesh.
Steph, I missed the turkey!
Wow, that is Some Bird! It reminds me of the old lady who swallowed a fly!
Are you serious Kat? What is it about mom's who can't let go of their own issues? I hope I'm not that kind of mom when my kids grow up.
I am tempted to fax my University transcript to my father. He keeps expressing surprised that I have completed my undergrad degree. "Oh, you are done?" Meanwhile he is pushing K-Bug to apply to Harvard. I shake my head at that man.
Obviously K's mom is going through something. But she's causing interfamily stress and turmoil. And granted, there are issues for her to have: K's dad bought a new house with a ton of land without ever telling K's mom. He just expected her to be happy to move out here.
I want that bird.
Luckily not every time I go to the hospital is stuff fucked up, because I go more than once a week these days (I'm going to avoid that this time, or die trying). But you'd think they'd get the hang of it--my insurance info hasn't changed in months.
