Why do both cats want to be one the table, and one between me and the computer?
Oh wait, I know the answer to that.
Just had a gust of wind that I mistook for a train going by (I live maybe 20 yds from rail and metro lines. My wineglasses rattle when a freight goes by) it was so loud. We may have avoided the nasty precip, but this wind is fierce.
tiggy, Reign Over Me is sort of depressing. Long and slow paced with some good acting.
Still stuck in Cleveland with Snowpocalypse but I'm trying to get my vegetarian friend to try bacon salt.
that's what i've heard, Cash. i'm not sure i'm in the mood for depressing. maybe i'll just snag something from On Demand.
thanks, beth!
ditto on the pretty hair, tiggy!
300 is nice and action packed.
I just had a chicken marsala sandwich, and it was goood.
I ordered food from a local place last night, and while it took forever, it was really tasty - and so freaking much food. I did order two entrees to hit the minimum delivery charge, but jeez. The pasta with marinara was huge, the marsala had
four
chicken breasts, and they gave me bread enough for like five people.
I'm waiting on fake Mexican, and getting annoyed, since they usually show up practically as soon as I hang up the phone.
I have lost my Supernatural Netflix.
Yes, I will accept condolences.
sarameg, we've been having CRAZY wind all day. Really freaky.
I heard down in DC (when my station went out, I switched to the DC affiliate) gusts were 60 mph. I believe it.
In a funny coincidence relating to the direction discussion, my mom was on the phone, telling me about a restaurant we should go to. I was trying to place it and asked her where it was relative to the church in the plaza. "It's on the east side."
Sigh.
"OK, facing the church, right or left?"
And I spent 18 years there, and usually did ok on e/w if I thought about it hard because of the dramatic mountains which designated east.
