that's what i've heard, Cash. i'm not sure i'm in the mood for depressing. maybe i'll just snag something from On Demand.
thanks, beth!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

ditto on the pretty hair, tiggy!
300 is nice and action packed.
I just had a chicken marsala sandwich, and it was goood.
I ordered food from a local place last night, and while it took forever, it was really tasty - and so freaking much food. I did order two entrees to hit the minimum delivery charge, but jeez. The pasta with marinara was huge, the marsala had four chicken breasts, and they gave me bread enough for like five people.
I'm waiting on fake Mexican, and getting annoyed, since they usually show up practically as soon as I hang up the phone.
I have lost my Supernatural Netflix.
Yes, I will accept condolences.
sarameg, we've been having CRAZY wind all day. Really freaky.
I heard down in DC (when my station went out, I switched to the DC affiliate) gusts were 60 mph. I believe it.
In a funny coincidence relating to the direction discussion, my mom was on the phone, telling me about a restaurant we should go to. I was trying to place it and asked her where it was relative to the church in the plaza. "It's on the east side." Sigh. "OK, facing the church, right or left?" And I spent 18 years there, and usually did ok on e/w if I thought about it hard because of the dramatic mountains which designated east.
Tom, that's hilarious! Why have we never known that before?
I am now full of "Mexican" food. And still have more left.
Shame on him trying to pass as Hec.
Poor Allyson. The very first time I ever used a GPS system was when I went to LA for the F2F. It came with the rental. It was so beyond awesome. We would just take off from the hotel and drive aimlessly then click take me back and voilà nice lady guided me home. And the bestest part, when the hotel appeared she said, "you have arrived."
eta: and this brought back all the lovely LAF2F memories.
Brendon bought one for me the next Christmas because it was such fun. I'm not directionally challenged here so much because totally flat and grid like, but I still use it even locally when I go someplace different. It always gets packed when I travel.
ION, we have a cold front! I have opened the windows again. I may go for a walk tonight. Whee!
Laura, when we have a cold front, I close my windows!
