I am grateful for Tom's pictures, and my inside pants, and the fact that I still have (wired) internet access, even though my airport base just decided it didn't like my computer, so I can ignore that last part until tomorrow.

Skipping ahead to say a big thank you to the Buffistas. So much of this new direction in my life wouldn't have been possible without you. I have food coma. I made about a gazillion pounds of mashed potatoes. Ooops. Except there's also 8 lbs of leftover turkey, and lots of gravy. So I don't really see what the problem is.

I am also an introvert; so I've left the party and retreated home where it's entirely quiet. I have scotch and my laptop, and am happy.

just put the potatoes and gravy in the pneumatic tubes, Suela, I'll take some! I'll send you pumpkin pie in return, mmkay?

Well, I left most of the leftovers at my sister's house, but I'll head back up there tomorrow. All I took home with me was some pie for breakfast. Yum, pie.

Meara's pumpkin pie is goooooooooooooooooooooood.

Heh. And I'm looking forward to eating it for the next couple days, whee! Leftovers is my favorite part about thanksgiving.
