Well, I left most of the leftovers at my sister's house, but I'll head back up there tomorrow. All I took home with me was some pie for breakfast. Yum, pie.

Heh. And I'm looking forward to eating it for the next couple days, whee! Leftovers is my favorite part about thanksgiving.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Nice pictures, Tom!

I see you have food in NYC again... [link]

I have no more pie, but I do have left over Whole Food's mashed sweet potatoes, which are incredibly yummy.

We have so much freaking crisp left. Paul was mourning the utter lack of side dish leftovers. I think they were all out on the porch. I'm not sure.

I may have to make stuffing tomorrow or something, just to have more of a side for the turkey and cranberry. And we've got potatoes that need using up, so we can do that, too.

Heh. My plan was to make stuffing tomorrow also, Plei. I love stuffing. I even contemplated making it right now, but am watching ANTM instead. (And after ANTM is over, I think I AM going to go outlet shopping! It's insanity!)

(I think there was stuffing out on the porch, but nothing else--not sure if the rest was in the fridge)

Paul said there was just turkey in the fridge, so I guess it was stuffing only. I think I have some stale bread that I need to use. And the stuffing tonight wasn't Comfort Stuffing, so I want to make Comfort Stuffing.

But not right now, because Lillian's asleep, and I'm flopped on the bed.

Outlet shop! Report back on the madness!

Who is going to the stores at 5:00 (or earlier), and what are they shopping for?

meara - Nov 22, 2007 9:22:57 pm PST #3671 of 10001

Heh. I am going to the "premium outlets" at midnight, and I am not doing any christmas shopping at all. Just shopping for me, because I've been thinking about going to the outlets, and want some new clothes, and hey, they're open! And have sales!

Christmas shopping will come later. Anyone got brilliant ideas for my mom? I've tried getting her things like mani/pedi gift certs, and I don't think she ever uses them. I took and framed a photo of the kids one year, made a photobook of a bunch of old pictures another year...
