I wonder if the series had gone on longer (damn you, Fox!), if a storyline involving the evil parents of Simon and River would have emerged. Because I really don't trust them after this episode.

Agreed with foresight on Book. Yeah I wonder where they would have gone with the Tam parents. I doubt so much of the evil, but very resistant to color outside the lines.
