Jayne: What're you gonna tell the others? Mal: About what? Jayne: About why I'm dead. Mal: Hadn't thought about it. Jayne: Make something up. Don't tell 'em what I did.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why would Bleeding Cool do that, though? Or, why would they fall for it? Because they couldn't not report it first just in case? That's a bit...grabby.

So, you figure the premise is Castle and Suits end before this, or somehow they both film in their off season, although Suits is a summer show and Castle is conventional schedule? Morena has a job too, if memory serves, because she wasn't at the panel. But I don't know if it's a movie or a series. So I vote for the replacement with younger actors. Zac's not tied down to anything, right, and it will keep him away from the song and dance pigeonholing him and his people fear.

Who's on Suits, out of curiosity? I have never watched it, and didn't realize they had a Firefly alumni on there.

Who's on Suits,

Gina Torres is the head of the firm. She's cold. She's kick ass. She's hot. But.. what else is new.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

In the comments to the article, the author says she's "working to confirm it".

I know, I know. Working to confirm it. Stay tuned, will let you know as soon as I do. I have ins w/Debbie Myers (who I interviewed in 2010) and some contacts which have put me directly in touch with Joss. Fingers crossed they both directly confirm to me... =)

Sounds like they posted a rumor.

Why would Bleeding Cool do that, though? Or, why would they fall for it? Because they couldn't not report it first just in case? That's a bit...grabby.

Why would EW not report it when they had someone in the room actually live-blogging the panel? Would have been a huge scoop.

I really, really, want this to be true, but at the moment I'm leaning towards someone deciding it would be funny to dash the hearts of a bunch of Browncoats.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Honestly, my brain is kind of shorting out and I can't consider the possibilities rationally. I blame Gaiman.

IO9 was there too, and they didn't mention it. I know it would be great for them to get a scoop, but this isn't your personal twitter account, and you're not trolling the SPN fandom (someone made a fake casting announcement yesterday)...your credibility is surely valuable. It sounds poorly sourced. Of course we're going to trust Bleeding Cool. They're real.

Until they're not anymore.

Sometimes, it is too good to be true.

I know P-C is actually at SDCC, but I have no idea if he went to Firefly panel. (I remember him posting on Facebook about having to choose because a lot of things he wanted to go to were conflicting, but I don't remember what he decided to actually go to.)

Maybe Bleeding Cool got entirely the wrong lesson from the whole CNN Supreme Court fiasco.
