You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

The Pirates of Penzance set in the Firefly-verse

The sheer amount of awesome potential in that phrase just broke my brain.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

While waiting for more Mark Watches Buffy, I caught up on Mark Watches Firefly, which was wonderful. At the end of the Serenity post he mentions that he is going to do posts for the Serenity comics, but I can't find them anywhere. Did he ever post them?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Today we finally did Secret Santa at work (Yes, the silly students leave for the holiday, and today was the first day we could all gather round). I got this mug: [link]

It was pretty easy to guess who my secret santa was. Given he's a fellow Browncoat, and the rest of the group thought it had something to do with an unplugged audio cable. @@ Silly muggles. At least they aren't purple bellies.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Catching up with The Big Bang Theory, ran into this flashback to when Leonard met Sheldon:

Sheldon: Roommates agree that Friday nights shall be reserved for watching Joss Whedon's brilliant new series, "Firefly."

Leonard: Does that really need to be in the agreement?

Sheldon: Might as well settle it now; it's going to be on for years.

Sad now.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But do they have a "suicide" pact?
