Maybe they overdubbed it. I know there was some criticism of her line reading when the clip first hit.
Firefly 5: That's my girl... That's my good girl.
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe.
"Come with me if you want to live"I'll be in my bunk...
She said with, not on !
Booooo! I'm just saying if I had to go with her to live I think I could deal with it.
So... Wednesday? Who's in?
I have to help a friend move this week, and I'm not sure which evening it will be. If it's not Wednesday, then I'm definitely in. If it is, I'll still try to make at least some of it, but I'm not sure.
If I have to miss any ep, though, this would probably be the one for me. There are some really wonderful parts that I love, but this is still one of my least favorite eps as a whole.
Count me in the disliking Bushwacked column but I am still in for Wednesday.
I didn't really dislike it, it's just my least favorite. I still think it's better than most other shows, but not one of Firefly's finest.
OMG did we know this was based on a "Bonanza" episode?
Wounded in an ambush, Joe Cartwright is rescued by the Griswolds, a farming family. Delirious with fever, Joe experiences surrealistic flashbacks and bizarre disturbing visions (in one, he sees Hoss trying to kill him!) As his condition worsens, it becomes obvious that emergency surgery is called for-but Joe is too seriously injured to be moved from the Griswold farm. Featured in the cast of this superbly directed and photographed episode are Richard O'Brien and Peggy McCoy as Mr. and Mrs. Griswold, and David Huddleston as Doc Scully. Originally telecast October 3, 1971, "Bushwacked!" was written by Preston Wood. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
edited 'cause... is anyone watching these for the first time?
Oh, Little Joe!
Plus, I probably shouldn't even mention it, but I'm very gratified to see that we're over 450 now.
