Does anyone know anything about the prequel comic book series for Firefly that was supposed to come out in 2002?
I think that Those Left Behind was set in between the series and the movie Serenity.
Cabil, if you're around, is Serenity Adventures, what you were working on?
Yep, Weis was the editor. I did one of the adventures, out of a total of 5 adventures.
Awesome CaBil.
Looking at that I see all the other Serenity RPG expansion books coming out, too.
Hmm.
Sumi posted this link in Other Media. Some spoilers for a Book backstory comic.
I wish I could afford this: [link]
Dunno if any of you need it, but Amazon has the Firefly boxset on sale for $16.99.
So a co-worker of mine, after having seen Waitress and Slither, decided that she loved Nathan Fillion. I asked her if she'd seen Firefly.
She'd never heard of it.
So I lent her my box set (and the movie) over the weekend.
This morning, she says she has to talk to me.
"I don't like sci-fi," she says.
I can tell where this is going.
Because she loved the hell out of the show. The writing, the acting, the characterization, the humor, everything. She and her boyfriend are already picking out the episodes they want to watch again when they're done. Her favorites so far are "Out of Gas," "Our Mrs. Reynolds," and "War Stories," which is the last she watched.
"Didn't I say, 'Don't doubt me'?" I said. Because I had. And now she's going to recommend it to other people.
