kinda remind you of ep 1? How is Kaylee always the innocent bystander?

Firefly 5: That's my girl... That's my good girl.
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe.
damn thats good writing "you murdered yourself, I just carried the bullet awhile"
Honestly, in this episode I think she was more stupid than innocent. But I think Joss used her as the "Willow" figure. He always has one female with big eyes who everyone is supposed to feel protective towards and sorry for, and on this show it's Kaylee.
Too bad his super organs couldn't heal him up.
I can't blame Tracey for not understanding the "plan," because I didn't understand it at first either. They didn't do a very good job at making it clear. The guy was afraid for his life, and they really did make him believe they were giving him up.
Ahhhhh! The violins! They kill me.
Oh man. Now the part I hate the most.
Also. Never noticed the repetition of lines in this episode. It's as if, knowing it would be the last, they ran out of words.
very sad. It does show the character depth of Mal taking care of his crew, even when they ain't his crew anymore.
That look of Nathan's. At one point, I thought it was sadness, but now it looks angry. Retro-perspective, I guess.
"Heart of Gold" next week.
