And the thing is, I like my evil like I like my men: evil. You know, straight up, black hat, tied to the train tracks, soon my electro-ray will destroy metropolis BAD.

not your mom's socks.

In order to make it through this morning, I will need more coffee and a couple wooden stakes.

if you'd mislead her a bit and said you met through me

did that. she wasn't mislead... & she thought d was cool. She figures anything you're doing with is A-OK.

Art Crawl!!!

That sounds good. Cream cheese?

Now I know what to do with the pumpkin butter I was given.

Is pumpkin butter just butter with pumpkin mushed in? Or something else, more complicated than my brain can imagine?

Art Crawl!!!

It's a pumpkin spread that contains no butter.

Is pumpkin butter just butter with pumpkin mushed in?

Like apple butter, it has no butter.

She figures anything you're doing with is A-OK.

Yeah, apple butter is a new one on me, too.

Pumpkin puree! Boy wanted a pumpkin pie for Halloween, and I was going to make one, but he said that I really need tins of pumpkin puree to make it properly. Alas, such a thing does not exist over here.

Because books.

Apple butter is the food of the gods. I've never had pumpkin butter, but I'm willing to expand my horizons.

Jars, my sister makes pumpkin pie out of fresh pumpkin. I'd bet a quick Google would come up with tips on how to make it really good. Sis works wacky hours or I would call and ask.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Pretty sure fresh pumpkin isn't exactly abundant near Jars either. Though maybe I'm just assuming things.

Is pumpkin butter just butter with pumpkin mushed in?

What they said. Though that doesn't sound half bad itself.

And come to think of it, an old college roommate grew up on her grandparents' farm, and she told me that they never bothered to label the canned/frozen pumpkin or the squash they put up from their garden. Even though there was a risk of eating pumpkin for a vegetable, and having a squash pie, she said it all came out as good.
