Bubblewrap - it is early in the season. I think I could use it.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

For those of you keeping score at home - the drainage for the washer is still not working, but plumber dude is pretty determined. He suspects a clog is thwarting us and he and his snake will not be denied.

I can't fight this feeling anymore. My dryer dries! My washer drains!
Time to do the laundry.

My alarm went off at 5am, as usual. I started my morning routine, not feeling on top so I crawled back in bed, figuring I'd get up when DH's alarm when off at 6am.
Ummmm....around 11am I finally woke up and found an empty house. I checked in at work, since I totally blew that off today. Geeesh.
At least I'm feeling better now.
Anyone want to read the storytelling dilemma I posted over in Great Write Way?
I DO know that, if I leave, he's got many thousands of dollars in repairs, renovations to do before he can rent to anyone else. Not the least of which is lead paint abatement. When my landlord tried to raise my rent 20% a few years back, I sent him a note saying that there was no way I could afford that much, and that I would be looking, and thanks for the 4 years at the place, and oh, for when I move out, here is the laundry list of things that need doing for the next tenant, so you can budget/prepare for it. He wrote back saying how about 5%, which he has done now every year since. Not that any of those items got checked off the list, but at least my rent is still in the reasonable range.
