Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I currently have 15 candles burning AIFG!
Shiny! (Well, more flicker than shine, but still very pretty)

I am kinda thinking leftovers from the pre-Thanksgiving dinner I made. Roast beast and yummies. Well, also trying to figure out how long I can amuse my mom with tv and just stay curled on the couch in a post-TooManyPeople coma.

Throw the drumsticks in there too. The meat will eventually simmer right off. Toss the bones before you serve.

The status is NOT quo.

PERFECT! So I can just throw everything into the slow cooker and just let it be, then fish out the bones at the end? Or maybe I should simmer the drumsticks in herbs separately so I don't have to worry about fishing the bones out of the crock pot?

(Sorry to be a pest--I'm still learning.)

ETA: Please tell Mom-of-Cass that I said hello!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh, and here I am about to microwave my drumstick and eat it. I am so not cool.

Kristin, I always ladle the bony parts out, slap 'em in the freezer for 20 minutes, and then just tear the meat off, plop it back in the pot, and thwap the bones the trash.

The drumstick bones are simplicity to fish out. And the slow cooking will get *all* of the flavor out.

Mom says hi back.

Thank you!

I haven't added the turkey yet, but I've chopped up celery, onion, garlic, and carrots and then added fresh sage and rosemary to vegetable stock and leftover gravy. It's simmering away until I have time to run to the store to get more vegetable stock; this is going to be a big pot o' stew.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

yeah what those guys said. You definitely want the bones to simmer in the pot because it gives the good flavor.

My new mug. Let me show you it. The moment Mom saw me on Thursday she rushed away, then rushed back and shoved this into my hands. She said she just couldn't wait 'till Christmas to see the look on my face. I love it but I also wonder if it's more than just spooky fun art. Does it mean something? On the bottom it says Atelje with an accent aigu over the e, under that there's a stylized crown, under that ARABIA and below that, in smaller asscaps, FINLAND.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

don't wanna get out of bed. iPhone is enabling this behavior. Wait wait is on the radio. And i am reflecting on my evening at CuteGraphicsGirl party. Trying to not over analyze them. Like, she taught me an easier method of knitting (English method?) that allowed for one stick to stay put. When I asked about casting on, she gave a cute look & said "oh that's something entirely different". Then her cat curled up on my lap. I thought this was a normal fair. She looks & says "wow, usaully he just walks back & forth getting pet from everyone. He never camps on Someones lap." Good signs?

Sorry I abandoned you ND, but thanks for letting me go. I guess it went well.

Yes, I think the movie was "Moving Violations".
