Do you know what else has blood in it? Blood.

Spike ,'Sleeper'

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

Jilli, I did not just send you an email, but I have two words for you: Six. Weeks.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Things are going to be ok. Daniel's cousin is on his way to either give me a jump or a ride to work. Called bosslady, and there is nothing pressing going on with the clients this afternoon, so it's not like I'm making someone miss a medical appointment - I can get there when I get there.

Our wings are not tired

Hey Jilli, it looks like I'll probably have a couple of trips to Seattle to design a show up there. I think probably January and March, but I have nothing definite yet.

And now, off to my lunch meeting.

Also hate the snooze button. I wake up without an alarm, but I have my computer set to start playing music (Rachmaninoff) at about 15 minutes before I need to get up. I always wake first.

DH sets an alarm, then resets it for another hour, then resets it for another half hour, etc. Makes me nuts. He rarely sets the alarm since I get up first.

Automatic coffee makers are a most wonderful invention.

Jilli, e-mail wasn't really important, just that there's a magazine called "Belle Armoir" and their latest issue has a two-page article on Victorian Gothic (actually, more about the Pre-Raphaelites and their love of gothic - defined as pre-Renaissance - things) and an article called "Combat Tutus" ... which has a photo of a corset that has panels of a fabric with pink skulls on it.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I hate snooze! GF loves it. I am totally not a morning person and want to sleep until the very last moment, which is why when I control the clock, I just set it for that very last moment and get up. You can't get any kind of good sleep during those snooze cycles! Then I get up and feed the cats, brush my teeth, and hit the shower. Ugh. I hate mornings!!!
