'Out Of Gas'

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Honey!

No, I forgot. I fiddled with the new earphones (thanks again!), put it on the thing by the door and wandered away with a blank look on my face.

I at 5 a.m. = Not the Brightest.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Online dating sucks. I've been on 8 first dates with gents who were fantastic on screen and didn't smell at all appealing IRL.

As an online dating tactic, I highly recommend finding a chatroom dedicated to a tv show you love. It helps to find one that's got at least ten regulars, and a good sense of community about it. As a strategy, there's no losing: You get plenty of good conversation, probably make a bunch friends. And as an added bonus, there's could be some flirting. And maybe someone starts to be very special.

Worked for me. Twice.

Based on experience, Buffy chatrooms yield better results than Star Trek, but YgeekeryMV.

Also, go, Fay! for getting in contact with Mr. Witty About Ice Cream. Stay strong and be brave about calling him later in the week. You can do this. And have fun with him.

sj, I'm sorry T is having such a rough time of it. She's lucky to have such a great friend. Hopefully she will find a way to soak up the sj love from a distance. Then use the strength and confidence that gives her to keep working on her goals.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

(Happy birthday)^3, Hil!

sj, could you maybe cheer her up by telling her you're setting aside the money so that she can use it to visit for (insert next holiday/birthday event here) and give her something to plan for and look forward to?

Happy Birthday, Hil!

sj, I'm so sorry things didn't work out. I really like Sparky's idea, though.

She knows it's an open offer, but she doesn't have any PTO from work right now, so she can't really get away very easily. I'm planning on going up there in March. Maybe she'll be able to come out here for an engagement party or a shower. I know that not being here to help with wedding stuff is part of the reason she's upset, which I feel bad about.
