Simon: I'm trying to put this as delicately as I can... How do I know you won't kill me in my sleep? Mal: You don't know me, son. So let me explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Tons of ~ma for your grandmother, vw.

Ok...kind of have the story. They think that what she's actually experiencing right now is bad acid reflux, but some of the tests they did show that her heart is enlarged, which is indicative of a blockage somewhere. So, they're running more tests. Also, they're surprised that her 8-year-old stints are still good, so they may have to replace some of those.

Ugh. She's 88-years-old, but I wanted her to prove that my fear of not getting the interviews this summer was wrong. She can't die. She's not allowed.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I highly recommend finding a chatroom dedicated to a tv show you love. It helps to find one that's got at least ten regulars, and a good sense of community about it. As a strategy, there's no losing: You get plenty of good conversation, probably make a bunch friends. And as an added bonus, there's could be some flirting. And maybe someone starts to be very special.

Heh. Yeah. I concur. (as would Hec and JZ)

{{vw's gran}} If it helps, my 91 year old grandmother was just in the hospital and she's fine. Sometimes ya just gotta go to the hospital to help the healing, once you're at a certain age. No one was even all that het up about it (and my mother actually CALLED ME and told me about it for a change).

Er, not to belittle your concern. Concern is always good. Just chiming in that sometimes hospital visits become more routine the older ya get.

Go, Grandmas, go!

Yeah, I know. It all started with an appointment for regular tests. Those came back concerning, so they sent her to immediate care, who sent her to the ER, who admitted her. It will probably be fine, but this is just fuel for some concerns/thoughts I had this summer (see LJ), and I need them to not come true. Especially right now, as I'm kind of teetering the edge as it is.
