Honey!!
You didn't take you iPod this morning!
'Out Of Gas'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Honey!!
You didn't take you iPod this morning!
Thanks, Nora.
sj, Nora is correct -- offering to pay for 1/2 of the ticket is a lot. Is T somewhere in Dallas? I can't remember. We might be able to find her a place to go for Thanksgiving (my DH grew up there and still has some good friends around).
That's so sweet. She'll be with her family for Thanksgiving in Dallas. She's just feeling homesick for being around here, and she didn't pass the test she needs to pass to become a teacher, so she's really down.
Honey!
No, I forgot. I fiddled with the new earphones (thanks again!), put it on the thing by the door and wandered away with a blank look on my face.
I at 5 a.m. = Not the Brightest.
Heh. It's 9:30 and I = not the brightest.
Online dating sucks. I've been on 8 first dates with gents who were fantastic on screen and didn't smell at all appealing IRL.
As an online dating tactic, I highly recommend finding a chatroom dedicated to a tv show you love. It helps to find one that's got at least ten regulars, and a good sense of community about it. As a strategy, there's no losing: You get plenty of good conversation, probably make a bunch friends. And as an added bonus, there's could be some flirting. And maybe someone starts to be very special.
Worked for me. Twice.
Based on experience, Buffy chatrooms yield better results than Star Trek, but YgeekeryMV.
Buffy chatrooms are FULL of losers and posers.
t giggle
Also, go, Fay! for getting in contact with Mr. Witty About Ice Cream. Stay strong and be brave about calling him later in the week. You can do this. And have fun with him.
sj, I'm sorry T is having such a rough time of it. She's lucky to have such a great friend. Hopefully she will find a way to soak up the sj love from a distance. Then use the strength and confidence that gives her to keep working on her goals.
(Happy birthday)^3, Hil!
sj, could you maybe cheer her up by telling her you're setting aside the money so that she can use it to visit for (insert next holiday/birthday event here) and give her something to plan for and look forward to?
Happy Birthday, Hil!
sj, I'm so sorry things didn't work out. I really like Sparky's idea, though.
NORA!!!!!
Um...there was more. I know there was more. Oh! billytea! Welcome home, and it was wonderful to see you!
Ok...must go do homework.
