Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I just made a dorm-style wine cooler with pinot noir. It was fixing to turn. (See that sounds quaint) It's actually not bad.

"I am the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world"

My Mom is nutty. My sister just told her that she told her husband he is no longer invited to family gatherings where Mom or I will be there. Mom replied, "are you sure? Let me talk this over with Liz." Gah! Of course you're sure you crazy woman! You loathe this guy as much as I do.

Congratulations?

I know seriously. Our other sister is seeing a really great guy. This may be a first for me and my sisters. Unless you count poly men in relationships with other women.

edit: and I'm not saying all the poly guys were great. Not by a long shot.

yeah I think in my whole life I've dated fewer than five guys I could truthfully describe as great. Even if you include all possible interpretations of the word.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Getting to bed now.

Erm. If anyone has my number and wouldn't mind calling me at 9 or 9:15 to make sure I'm awake, it would be very much appreciated. (I've got two alarms set. But, just in case.)

t edit: nevermind. I'm awake. Thanks anyway.

Once in a conversation I wondered to a friend of mine what type of alarm clock hearing-impaired people use. They actually have sonic alarm clocks. Yeah they're about 50 bucks but you might find it worth the money.

Yeah, I've seen the various sorts of alarm clocks for deaf people. The kind with flashing lights, and the kind with vibrating plates that make your bed shake.

Right, now, though, what I really need is for this city's doctors to actually have something resembling reasonable schedules, so that I can go and get seen and get meds and quit feeling this ick.
