sometimes, my job is just downright surreal.
After dinner break, we drag the actors up to the wee studio to record... fart noises. Yes. Fart Noises. Toots, squishes and everything in between. Immediately vocabulary began to direct the actors to strike it rich with the right sounding gas. it was like Eskimos and snow, a million different descriptions. And yes, we all were giggling like school children. Thankfully there isn't the "yawn" effect, or that lil studio would have been ripe.

A quick question. I have a friend about 53, getting over a bad breakup who has decided to try on-line dating. She is unconventional, politically lefty, a smoker, spiritual but not religious, a lot of leftover hippie. Very pretty. What are the right dating services for her? She's been trying match.com without many results, though I think that all she did was put up a profile; she hasn't been scanning others profiles and contacting them. Also I suspect her profile may be a little long.
I found match.com to be largely a waste of time. Unfortunately the sites with which I had better success are Australian, so that doesn't necessarily help; but I recall rsvp.com.au as offering at least some articles with good advice on how to navigagte the online dating.
Oh thank goodness for the internet. I tried to get on for like, an hour earlier. And nearly bust out in tears cause I couldn't make it work. Thank god I got on and feel much better now. Yay.
I have no advice on dating sites, since mostly I troll craigslist and laugh at the horrible ads and don't answer any. So.
There is one called democraticmatch.com But it's kind of new. Also, my heart isn't in that at the moment. All I ever got online dating is another hopeless crush.
This is where someone suggests that we create an online dating site, we all pool our resources and everybody makes a fortune...

What resources? All my resources, including my good looks add up to about thirty cents. You can have 'em, I suppose. Just don't start pricing that boat.
