Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy Birthday to Ginger!

I have lots and lots of leftover candy. Tropical storminess kept the number down on kids. I did have one precious little one. I dropped a couple candies in his bag and said, "here you go pumpkin," when he looked right at me and declared, "I'm not a pumpkin, I'm superman!" Melted me.

Haven't had a chance to skim and look at pics of people. Need to do that later....

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy birthday, Ginger!

Happy home-owning, Sparky and Cash!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

My mother STILL likes to tell the story of the first time I went trick-or-treating. We had dinner, she dressed me in my costume, handed me a bag, and we went around the neighborhood. All well and good. BUT ... the next night we had dinner and I disappeared into my room, put on the costume myself, grabbed the bag, and presented myself to her saying, "OK, let's go!" I was about three.

not your mom's socks.

"OK, let's go!"

Bwah!

Happy Birthday Ginger!

Did absolutely no work yesterday. Am expecting hell-to-pay this morning.

Aimee - I'm certain you were an awesome very bad witch.

One of my favorite costumes from last night, seen as it sped by: "Chase Me Elmo"

Sparky, it might come out sometime in the future ... not hand-done, but at least the stories.

Art Crawl!!!

Happy Birthday Ginger!

ION, I found Wise chips in my snack machine this morning. I have never seen Wise chips out here before. (Out here being in Illinois vs. being in Pennsylvania.)

So, despite the early hour, I bought a package.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Driving in to work this morning, one of the parks I pass was swathed in crime scene tape and there were cop cars blocking adjacent streets and cop cars were in the park. There were news vans parked on the side of the street.

Google is not telling me a thing. Blarg.

oh my ... I was just over in Smart Bitches and had to quote this:

But hey, if you hand me a book and tell me it’s the paper bound version of freebasing a dangerous stimulant, I’m willing to try it.

Trust my rage

I just had to share that we also woke up to "Twizzlers!" Once she was dressed she asked about going to the pumpkin party.

eta: and now that I'm at a computer, I can share a costume picture: [link]

While I think Ellie is super sugar, my favorite part of her costume is the surfboard Joe made for her.
