My mother STILL likes to tell the story of the first time I went trick-or-treating. We had dinner, she dressed me in my costume, handed me a bag, and we went around the neighborhood. All well and good. BUT ... the next night we had dinner and I disappeared into my room, put on the costume myself, grabbed the bag, and presented myself to her saying, "OK, let's go!" I was about three.

"OK, let's go!"

ION, I found Wise chips in my snack machine this morning. I have never seen Wise chips out here before. (Out here being in Illinois vs. being in Pennsylvania.)

So, despite the early hour, I bought a package.

Driving in to work this morning, one of the parks I pass was swathed in crime scene tape and there were cop cars blocking adjacent streets and cop cars were in the park. There were news vans parked on the side of the street.

Google is not telling me a thing. Blarg.

oh my ... I was just over in Smart Bitches and had to quote this:

I just had to share that we also woke up to "Twizzlers!" Once she was dressed she asked about going to the pumpkin party.

While I think Ellie is super sugar, my favorite part of her costume is the surfboard Joe made for her.

gah. seatac security line is longer than anything. i hope i make my flight....also important would be breakfast, though! eeep.
