I really want to wear my kitty ears today but I have class and already feel like an old granny. I'm worried they'll think I'm not only old, but incredibly dorky. You'd think I'd be over all that kind of nonsense at my age. If I were working instead, I'd totally wear them. They already know I'm 37 going on 10!

Thanks, Sox. I have a blog where I follow most of what you mentioned above although I do use Ellie's name. Even if you google "stephanie ellie joe puerto rico" nothing comes up related to us. My other rule is that if I'm blogging about friends or their kids, I don't use their names since I generally haven't asked permission.

I have an aunt with the habit of sending my cousin, her best friend and me all sorts of "Christians are being persecuted!" emails. There's just sort of an assumption of agreement. I have the same issues with a lot of work events where it's pretty much assumed it's fine to open and/or close with a prayer. I remember one conference where we were asked to sing "Our God is a Mighty God"
