Don't belong. Dangerous, like you. Can't be controlled. Can't be trusted. Everyone could just go on without me and not have to worry. People could be what they wanted to be. Could be with the people they wanted. Live simple. No secrets.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Cute and funny, Suzi!

In more annoying news - I did not get any acknowlegement from my boss about not going in tonight. So I have no idea if she read it or ignored it thinking it was just a follow up from my phone call

For happier Golden Compass news, my friend just posted this in her lj:

AIH played a clip of Philip Pullman, author of the fab Golden Compass, answering a question at the University of Toronto about the benefits of saying nursery rhymes with your children:

Thanks Stephanie - that's good to hear. Lately, tweaking the blog has been good for keeping my mind off of things I can't control, so I don't want to shut it down because my mom (who is reading a certain book by paperdol) thinks the Internet is Coming To Get Her Grandchild. Insent coming to your profile addy.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

so much going on!

Stephanie, glad to hear the final word on Joe's health.

Happy birthday to Daniel!

Happy anniversary to the Reasons!

Sox, in addition to discussing general rules of e-mail with your babysitter, you might also suggest that she check on the facts before sending something to everyone she knows. Point out that just because it's on the net/in e-mail, it's not necessarily true or accurate.

Sox, she's adorable! but put in a warning for Jilli (probably safe for her - the cute overwhelms the arachnid, but ....)

Because books.

Sox, the pirate costume is a last-minute thing for me! I bought the kids' costumes this year, too.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

"even if this was what you really feel, it's presumptive to assume that everyone you know feels the same, it upset me to receive that email, and it's not good business if you want to keep your clients."
Yes, this!!

If her mom finds out, she should read the website herself! She'd find considerable comfort there for the I'm-worried-that-my-child-is-too-emo syndrome!
Oh, I know. The problem is the perception that her teacher is promoting gothiness, and I'm not sure if this mom would stop and read or if she would just complain and get me in a lot of hot water.
Also, yay babygoth and yay you for being that teacher we all needed (and were sometimes lucky enough to have) in High School!
t blush Thanks.

ETA: DED AGAIN FROM CUTE.
