Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Or at the very least keep my meat thermometer handy.
Or the fire extinguisher?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Looking safe so far.

And tasty.

Unrelatedlyto the whole thing (and, uh, any painkillers) do the voices in your heads ever do accents?

Aw, Fup the storecat at Powell's died at 19.

Because I'm a freak with a maybe-sick cat, I'm gonna go hug her. After I scoop the litterboxes.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The kids at the office ate all my candy, so we're hanging out pretending we're not home. Wow, there were a lot of kids.

Lots of pirates, too, but I think mine was the cutest one there.

Do I have to admit to voices in my head if I answer this? Because they would, if I were to have such things. Different accents and different voices. But I am in no way admitting this.

Hmm, I could Foreman grill something for dinner. I am hungry now.

I am unsurprised. She's a cutie.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Just back from my friend Susan's house. They get so many trick-or-treaters! It was fun.

DJ, you look fantastic as Jessica Rabbit!

Also, congrats on the internet, Robin. That's a good way to feel settled at home.

Anyone ever used allergy eye drops?

I've never had the need before cause my allergies are fierce but I was always taking oral meds for them. Now my meds are a nasal spray instead (and an allergy/asthma inhaler) and I get the massively itchy eyes sometimes.

I just popped some Benedryl but it's gonna take time to work. I want instant relief. Or targeted relief. Basically, I want options. Especially since it takes me for.ever. to realize that the itchy eyes *are* allergies.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We have had about 100 or so trick-or-treaters. Lots of them were in groups of 5 or 6, so not too many times opening the door. I have learned that Skittles are WAY more desirable than Starbursts. Spiderman has been the most popular costume, followed by pirates and then princesses of many types.
