It's good to know everyone in the Bay Area is safe.
Happy Birthday, Daniel!
Kalshane, Cashmere and I all close on houses today! Wish us smooth transaction ~ma.
At the moment, my DH is asleep on the floor because he's not feeling well, didn't want to ask me to move from the couch, and our bedroom was too far away. Poor fella.
Hivemind opinion...
Parents who dress up with their kids to take them trick or treating.
A) Fun parent! Way to get into the holiday!
B) Sad parent! Way to try to steal the kids thunder.
C) Whatever.
Happy Buffista House Day!
Bay Area people, remain calm. Earth, stay still!
I am dressed in Peacock blue and chocolate brown today, so if anyone asks, I am dressed my living room.

Parents who dress up with their kids to take them trick or treating.
When I went to SF lo these many years ago for Halloween, some of us went out trick-or-treating with Emmett, and the parental costume I remember the most was these 2 men dressed in black outfits that were similar to the outfits that male figure skaters often wear (sequin trim down the outer leg, etc.). Their costumes weren't too noteworthy until we saw one of them pick up a toddler who was wearing a white-tiger cub outfit.
They were Sigfried and Roy.
(And, for the record, I vote A.)
Always A, unless the parent has spent hundreds on their costume and the toddler gets a stained old sheet.
You get extra parental points if your costume complements the kid's.
And Hippo Birdies to Daniel!
A for sure.
He fills out the I heart NY outfit that he was swimming in two months ago.
Aw, NY hearts him right back!
I had to box up so many of D's newborn clothes unworn because I put them on once, they were too big, and by the time I got around to trying them again they were too small. Babies grow fast, yo.
You forgot D: Parents who dress up because they want their own candy stash. I get a couple of those every year.
I never went trick or treating with my parents. It was with my older siblings until I was about 6, and then my friends from the neighborhood and I went on our own.
