Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I"d be careful with Bach, as he fell out of fashion very thoroughly from his death until the early 19th century.

Thanks, Ouise. I couldn't remember (and didn't bother to research), but things like that always surprise me. I mean, Bach is awesome. Why would Bach fall out of fashion? Stupid 18th century.

On the bright side, I suppose, I brough my lunch today so even if the elevator stays broken for a while, I won't have to resort to cannibalism.

Which is good because all of the walking up the steps have toughened up the muscles of your coworkers -- making them too stringy to enjoy.

And speaking of weird foods (see that transition)... for all of my eating needs today I have the following "foods": protein shake, 2 protein bars, pork chop, and special high protein "vegetable" "chili."

And I bought in 3 buckeyes (not for me)....

Cannibalism might be higher appeal.

That sounds very ...protein-y.

The vet needs to call me back.

Was Devi better this morning?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That sounds very ...protein-y.

Seriously!

The vet needs to call me back.

Seriously.

We are totally dropping like flies in my office -- my boss just went home sick.

I want to go home sick. And I may.

hip deep in pie

I want to go home sick. And I may.

I do too, but I won't. All bets are off, however, for tomorrow.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I took last week off on holiday - and ended up sick the entire time. I went to the filming of a music TV show on my first day off, and whilst the presenter was speaking I was stood behind them, coughed whilst drinking a pint of beer, and spat it out over them. On camera. I died of shame, just about.

Devi almost threw up this morning, so no. And I should be more patient with the vet. The one I saw last week is off Tue/Thur, and the other vet had surgeries scheduled, so reception told me to not expect to hear back until this afternoon.

I vote go home sick.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Oh dear, Kevin.

Everyone needs to get better soon. I am not sure if I am sick, or if the wisdom teeth I am having extracted in two weeks are causing my sinuses to go crazy. At least I figured out why it hurt so much-- there is a huge hole in my tooth at the gumline!

My mother had many of her teeth root-canaled and crowned in her twenties, and now, at 60 they are completely falling out. I understand that she is scared of the dentist and has little money, but I hope her teeth don't hurt like mine does. If that were the case, and I were her, I would rather get them all pulled out and gum everything, frankly.
