"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I would have sworn I had powdered sugar. I don't. What I do have frosting that's not thick enough.

"I am the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world"

Back when I had migraines as a kid the mindful breathing never worked for me... but then again (upon recollection whilst typing) I was only about 7. I usually hugged the toilet and laid back down in the parent's waterbed.

That said... who else loves tequilla?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

ita, is there anything I can do? Pick something up for you perhaps? I think I'm the closest buffista, and the kids are theoretically in bed right now.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The breathing isn't so much to make a migraine go away. I get into escalating loops of anxiety, however (thank you, med cocktail!) and they make them worse. So I need to not let myself get wired over small things.

Once the pain is on, it takes time, sometimes sleep, but mostly large amounts of narcotics. I exist to make nurses nervous.

Watched a few minutes of that two dorks and a hot chick sitcom (this is the curse of me being TiVo-free) and ouch. Just wrong. I hate the ugly geek hot brainless girl thing.

Oh, god no. Thanks a ton for asking, but unless you're toting narcotics, I'm beyond help. Thanks, though, seriously. You guys are great.

"I am the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world"

That makes sense.

TV shows that simply cater to a certain stereotype only to reinforce a stereotype that some of the targeted audience holds to be true irritates me.

Sorry, no narcotics here. Not kid friendly.

Oh, and I love tequila. I was introduced to the idea of sipping tequila a few years ago, and was sad I'd been missing out on it all along. I started asking bartenders' recommendations in bars and then buying a bottle if I liked it, and ended up with quite a lot. Which I, uh, drank recently. My replacement bottle of Casa Vieja randomly chosen is really tasty. Highly recommended.

Of course, I just got up to check the label and the verdict is for me to not walk since it brought tears to my eyes. Next walk takes me to bed straight to bed not passing go or collecting $200.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hope you can get some sleep, ita.

It hurts all the way into my legs. I'm so over this. To bed in a sec.
