Shit's all sorts of different now.

Sue, listen very carefully. This is very important.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The lamb was a *terrible* idea; the smell made us both too sick to sleep, and the whole thing is a greasy mess.

Tonight I'm going to make a vat of fruity curried chicken salad which I will eat for lunch the rest of the week. I have a bunch of apples and grapes I need to use up before they go bad.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am still stuck on different quick and uncooked things to toss Buitoni tortellini in.

Oh, and eating out.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I heated up some shelf-stable Trader Joe's veggie jambalaya, and it was nasty. FYI. I don't know what the cashier was going on about how good it is.

Should I cook them on low heat (250 degrees) for a long time (3 hours) or should I use a higher temperature?

low and slow, baby. low and slow . . .

Art Crawl!!!

I had some of the pumpkin butter (TJ's) with the pumpkin bread as my dessert and it was good.

The pumpkin butter I have isn't from TJ's and is very, very sweet but the tjs stuff doesn't have that problem at all.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

She was on the Trader Joe's organic free-range crack?

Punishingly Intricate

I had a delicious giant salad but am FREEZING and wishing i had a big bowl o' soup. Maybe i'll go out and get some tea.

I made lemony quinoa, roasted brussel sprouts, and steak w/ a red wine reduction sauce last night. Yum. The steak was kind of tough but cooked to just the right doneness for me...even though I couldn't remember the parts of hand test (and I really don't cook meat much so it's always confusing to me).

lisah, we were totally almost dinner twins last night!

She was on the Trader Joe's organic free-range crack?

Yeah, or else she's a vegetarian who can't cook, so her standards are really really low.
