And almost sixty-five percent of that was actual compliment. Is that a personal best?

It's really hard to get out of bed when it is 55 inside.

I guess I need to turn on the heat and see if it works.

Happy Birthday Aurelia!

Now that the baseball season is over, I can take pride that my team, the Royals, finished in front of not one, but two teams in MLB. I was hoping they would finish out of last place and they did it. Next year I think they can go for the twofer and stay out of last place again.

I'm not sure I want pumpkin butter on pumpkin bread though

I'll take yours.

I didn't make it up to Apple Hill, so I may have to try TJ's pumpkin butter. I did find the frozen chocolate croissants at TJ's but I forget to set it out to defrost overnight, so no crack for me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, I do! I'll fight Suzi for it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Happy belated B-day, aurelia!

The Cubs made the playoffs! With a record slightly better than .500!

Baseball is weird.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Bwah!

Good morning all. I am up and breakfasted and alert and at 'em unreasonably early for me. Because someone tried to fax me in the wee sma's. But it didn't go through, because as I have tried to explain to people, it is one line for my home and business and fax and therefore you must call me, and tell me you're going to fax me, and then I'll set it up, and you can fax me. You can't just fax me at three in the morning. Who is faxing from Kansas at three in the morning anyway?

The truth is, it's probably a donation, but I dunno how to find out who, 'cause they faxed from a business, and the business doesn't know who faxed out. Not helpful.

Anyway. I'm up and at 'em, and I guess that's good. I'll make a plan to have a productive day and see how that goes for me.
