Medical procedures? Annual mystery arcs?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Medical procedures? Annual mystery arcs?

If it is a procedural I've been getting the definition of procedural wrong. It's a show in which stuff happens during the hour--aren't procedurals mystery A plots? I mean, the mystery can be medical--House is a sure procedural in my book, but ER has many episodes with no mystery.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I just had a "hey, I know him" moment watching last week's Pushing Daisies! I worked with Eddie Shin (the guy who played Wilfred Woodruff) before he was on That 80's Show.

okay, maybe no monkey noodle

FNL: If the ex-coach turns out to be the Vodoo Tatum of this season, and shows up in the last ep, I think my eyes might just roll out of my head.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

So I've been watching Black Snake Moan for about 30 minutes now. At some point, the plot starts, right? 'Cause this isn't quite fun enough to warrant so little plot. Also? How long has Christina Ricci looked like a junkie? Did I miss something?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Lee, FNL: I'm quite sure we'll see MacGregor again. He'll get a job coaching at Midland or something.

I dunno. There's some stuff going on this season that are just clunky in the extreme. And yet, I still love Tami and Tyra and Eric, and I want to thwap Tim and Jason and Lyla. And feed Matt soup. So I'm skeptical of some of the storylines while still loving the characters.

I quite liked the movie, Burrell, but I can't for the life of me remember the pacing. I found SLJ and Christina entrancing. I like her brand of trashy hot.

I checked my site and I don't have any Moan-era pictures of her, but this stands out enough that I wonder if I should get rid of it.

It's just so wholesome.

Okay, I had a large nap. This doesn't bode well. My head hurts, also boding ill. Once you get into has-no-painkillers, we understand that this might be a very long weekend.

FNL: I'm sure we will see him again too. I just hope it's done a little differently than Voodoo.

I agree about some of the storylines as well. I feel like the writers spent the summer watching too many soaps, or maybe One Tree Hill.
