Gunn: Well, how horrible is this thing? Lorne: I haven't read the Book of Revelations lately, but if I was searching for adjectives, I'd probably start there.

'Hell Bound'

Natter 54: Right here, dammit.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I always heard the Zoot suit thing as having neat pleats, and a flipper zipper. Although a drape shape also makes sense.

Somebody should now come up with the canonical rhyme-words about shoes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm going to say that DJ's link isn't one I could sit through. It kinda hurt.

The morning's ER visit broke the big pain. Didn't knock the small pain entirely out, sadly.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

How come nobody told me about the new toilet culture?

And what was wrong with the *old* toilet culture?

Also, the last picture, at Jungle Jim's? That's in Cincinnati! (Well, a northern suburb. And trust me when I say the restroom is FAR from the wackiest thing about the store. There are, for instance, singing characters all over the store, Robin Hood hawking English fare, and a big fucking cheese that you can *watch* aging [like the Cheddarcam!], among others.)

Apparently the restroom has won an award. Makes me proud to be a Cincinnatian, let me tell you.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Okay, my neighbor's sister called work and said there was a family emergency and she would have to cancel the conference travel.

Then she called her mom to come and help out.

So there's finally some sanity. I hope it continues to prevail.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Sometimes you have to fight disturbing with disturbing [link]

Bah. I say, fight disturbing with the most awesome twee ever: [link]

(found while trolling TMBG stuff in the aftermath of last night's Pushing Daisies and currently my favorite YouTube thingie ever, aside from Casper tromping back and forth and singing to flea and Dillo that she's not unreasonable, she doesn't want to eat their eyes)

Hec is gonna cry tonight when he's playing catch-up and finds that he missed all this in real time.

Me too. And I hope they keep the love as tough as possible.

Whew. Finished my work conference call. And I even managed to keep an ear open for mentions of my name and responded appropriately. Once my lunch arrives I can snarf and then go to sleep like the dilaudid is begging me to.

I have no idea what the fashion rhyming is about...TMBG? I mean, I know who they are--just trying to stitch (er, no pun) the discussion together in my head.

The school told everyone to stay inside today because air quality is so bad. I don't have AC; my only option for cooling my classroom is to open the windows and run my tiny Vornado. Does anyone see the problem here?

It was so bad that I left early today (Kristin, my school is the one that is in the bend on Sunset, west of your school). My head still hurts. And the air is even chunkier at home. Poor noah is enjoying his oxygen.

It was ashing all over my car yesterday. Gross.

yep. so badly.

Working in Brentwood means that I'm even closer to the yuck. And yet, hard to complain when things are so much worse for people who have sustained actual losses and not just discomforts.
