What they should ask you to do is buy them some boundaries since they seem to be fresh out. I've been on what amounted to suicide watch once, for one of the two people on the whole frickin' planet who have the right to ask that sort of thing of me, and it was probably the most nightmarish experience of my life.

I dont know what you do in situations like this when you don't have health insurance or a family who can help.
