Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

When my boss saw me taking jalapenos for my stuffy nose last night she said she has a friend who eats yellow peppers when she feels a migraine coming on and that keeps them at bay.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My lunch is a very delicious omelet.

I hadn't made an omelet in a while, generally preferring scrambles.

But after Top Chef last night I could tell JZ wanted something tastier than mac and cheese so I made her a really delicious omelet. And I was jealous of the omelet I made for her last night so I made my own today, adding ham.

First I sauteed some diced onion in butter. When that was translucent I added fresh spinach and cooked it just long enough to coat it in butter and get it slightly wilted. You don't want to overdo spinach.

Set that aside and poured in two eggs. I'd mixed them French style with a minimum of whipping and air. So that it would be a perfect little envelope of egg for the filling. Swirled the egg around in the pan until it was crepe-like. Filled it with spinach and onions. Then added one slice of diced ham and some feta cheese.

Folded it over perfectly and Voila! So freakin' yum.

That's why I like having a bag of baby spinach in the fridge. Salad or sautee.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cash, I totally meant to come back and tell you about the Whovian ring tones. But that looks sorted.
You could tell me instead. I am craving Tardis noises.

and some nice kefir (which I so cannot pronounce)
Key-fur. Mmmm, kefir...

I'm at the airport. I should go see if the Powell's here has paperdol's book. I forgot to ask P yesterday when she called where she grabbed it from...

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Does her friend have a giant Kitchen Stadium?

We need to start positively reinforcing shrift's burial, with HoYay! if need be.

Sending me Christian Bale and John Barrowman would be an excellent start.

Will you promise to take excellent notes for us if we do?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I'm starting hunting for Halloween costumes. $30-40 at stores seems crazy (even though I know it will get more than one night's wear). I see ebay trolling in my future.

Speaking of recycling clothing, I know we will have some winter hand-me downs. Would other parents be interested in participating in a clothing swap-a-thon. I am happy to take names/addresses/and children's sizes and then distribute out the info. Also, my CSA is having a kids' clothing free for all swap in a week or two. If anyone is in need, email me the specifics and I'll see if I can find things. With the holidays coming up I know things tight for lots of is what with travel and gifts.

Does one of the Iron Chefs uses this migraine suppressant as well?

Pirate is easy and cheap.

You could probably find a cheap Batman on eBay.

He could be a baseball player and he could wear that stuff the rest of the year.
