This is true. The sanitizers that are mostly alcohol have little effect on bacterial resistance.

I think it's recommended for people who are going to be around the immmuno-suppressed and/or infants or the elderly.
I've gotten them the last few years because my old company provided them free of charge. I don't know about this year. Except that everyone I know is pregnant. (slight exaggeration...but not really)

Given that I tend to pump gas and then forget and bite my nails on the drive home while my hand is still becrudded, I'm not really that terrified by the thought of handling a shopping cart after someone else.

But after grocery shopping (and after getting on and off the Metro, etc.) I do try to wash my hands.
I have to do this too. my hands feel dirty after shopping and picking all of those random things. it makes me nutty(but not Nutty). i also have to use my hand sanitizer after i pump gas. it's a thing.
Also, I can't stop putting two spaces after a period. I didn't even learn to type on a typewriter, I don't think!!
Jesse is me. we were taught two spaces after a period and this was only 10 years or so ago on a computer. i still do it and i don't see breaking myself of it anytime soon.

I got a flu shot through school. I pretty much take them up on the free shot every year since the kidlets bring every virus known to man through this place.
