I do generally wash my hands once I come in from being outside, be it at work or home.
Natter 54: Right here, dammit.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Some of you have heard me argue against the use of two spaces between sentences, and endured my grousing about "old typewriter habits" and my mumblings of the words "mono-spacing" and "proportional."
Hah! This is something I have to deal with all the time. Drives me crazy. If I can learn to only use one space everyone else can too!
I was talking about it with my lawyer brother just this weekend and he says two spaces are required, no arguin', in the legal documents they produce. That would make me insane.
E-sawThank you. Long "e" like in feet?
Yes. Like the letter "E".
The question is: do you wash your hands after you use two spaces?
The only active ingredient in Purrell is alcohol, so I'm not sure how much it's feeding the super bugs anyway.
This is true. The sanitizers that are mostly alcohol have little effect on bacterial resistance.
My new dilemma: Flu vaccine or not?
That's my dilemma too, Kat. I'm thinking we probably will, if only to decrease the likelihood of passing something along to my MiL.
If you have contact with immuno-compromised people, flu shot YES.
My new dilemma: Flu vaccine or not?
I think it's recommended for people who are going to be around the immmuno-suppressed and/or infants or the elderly.
I've gotten them the last few years because my old company provided them free of charge. I don't know about this year. Except that everyone I know is pregnant. (slight exaggeration...but not really)
But honestly, I deal with two immuno compromised kids, both of whom are giant fans of the hands-in-the-mouth school of self-soothing.
See, that's a perfectly valid health reason. I get that.
