I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I've never watched Charmed. Are the sisters all really shy? What does the song have to do with the show, besides the sisters being human and (I assume) wanting love?

It was also on the soundtrack to The Craft (witchy movie), which I love. I love the soundtrack even more.

I have to force myself not to double space after a period, and I've always typed on the computer.

My word it got cold all of the sudden.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

After one ep? Huh.

I thought they had one last night too (as well as Thursday). Not that I watched. So one week, but two episodes.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I use hand sanitizer like you wouldn't believe... I know, I'm part of the problem. But honestly, I deal with two immuno compromised kids, both of whom are giant fans of the hands-in-the-mouth school of self-soothing.

I don't wipe down carts, but I Purrell my own hands after.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Did y'all know that in HTML, multiple spaces get treated like a single space? So it doesn't make any difference if you put two spaces in your posts; everyone will still only see one.

I did know that! I just hope all of my extra spaces don't crash the server someday...

Also, I did not realize until I saw it on Best Week Ever that Viva Laughlin had the characters singing over recordings. WTF is up with that? It just seems weird.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

If you have immuno-compromised kids, that is a different story. That is an appropriate use of anti-bacterial stuff.

Yep, apparently cancelled four days after premiering: [link]

Yeah, that's different. I also gave a pass to a friend who handed me Purell before she handed me the baby, because then she told me to stick my finger in the baby's mouth! Hilarious.

The only active ingredient in Purrell is alcohol, so I'm not sure how much it's feeding the super bugs anyway.

Thrive to spite them

I think Albertson's has handwipes available at the entrance. I'm not big on anti bacterial stuff, but I do use it at my desk before I eat or after I've dealt with boxes from Fed Ex and UPS (they're always kind of nasty). Our office supply store has antibactieral folders which I think is taking things too far.

Last night was the 2nd episode of Viva Laughlin, it was oddly compelling. bad but compelling.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Corwood, I am so sorry to hear about your brother.
