Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Thank god other people mis-heard, too! I wonder what made Charmed choose that as a theme song-- they were heirs, but it was about three sisters! I think there was a son later on....

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Ah! How Soon is Now! How can you tell if someone is singing those words wrong. They sound exactly alike-to me anyway.

I think I quoted it in an email, maybe -- I had written it down, I recall, and I was emailing the person in an early dating context when something like that can give you some serious demerits. Well, everything turned out ok, obviously.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ok, I guess I understand it, but I hate sharing the bathroom with them. I have to pee!

This is what I'm saying. She's standing there forever, silently flossing!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I had the same mondegreen.

Me three, or four or five or whatever we're up to. Which leads to another perennial Buffista discussion, regional differences in word sounds. Is there anyone for whom "son and heir" sounds distinctly different from "sun and air"? Is it just a USian confusion, and all the Brit Buffistas are reading all this and saying, "I love you dearly, but duh" under their breaths?

hip deep in pie

When I floss at work, I floss at my desk. I know some people might find that gross, but I can't floss in front of mirrors, because I get the left-right thing confused all the time.

I am so ready to go home now.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I've never watched Charmed. Are the sisters all really shy? What does the song have to do with the show, besides the sisters being human and (I assume) wanting love?

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I always thought it was cool that it worked either as "sun/air" and "son/heir." I assumed it was intentional.

They are witches, so I thought the sun and air was some reference to witchiness/magic.

ETA- and the shy thing doesn't appear in the credits, the only words they use are

I am the son, I am the heir
I am human and I need to be loved,
just like everyone else does
see i've already waited too long
and all my hope is gone

I thought it was the wanting to be loved just like everyone else thing. Because they are hot women with powers so they are lonely, right?!

(I don't watch the show.)

Maybe it's that they want to be loved instead of tied to stakes and burned?
