and found out that the word to the song used as the theme song are 'I am the son, I am the heir' not 'I am the sun, I am the air'.
For years and years I got that wrong too!
Can't remember what it was that finally clued me in. Perhaps I looked up the lyrics?
eta: The full line is "I am the son, I am the heir / to a shyness that is criminally vulgar"
Also maybe it was when I heard the TaTu version that I figured out what it was supposed to be.
I had the same mondegreen. It was Bob or someone else I dated who corrected me, making me feel hopelessly uncool.
I think I just should give up on eating ever again.
We are in the same boat.
And I REALLY want that burger.
Random: There's someone who works on my floor (for a different company) who flosses in the middle of the workday. That's weird, right? I mean, I get brushing three times a day (although I don't do it!), but flossing??

Ah! How Soon is Now! How can you tell if someone is singing those words wrong. They sound exactly alike-to me anyway.
We have someone here that does that (in the ladies room, so why shouldn't she). I think it's odd, but I should add that she's gorgeous and has lovely teeth, so I should probably follow her example.

Depending on how close I am to a check up, I might. But definitely not all the time.
There are a few people at work who do the whole teeth cleaning ritual at lunch. Ok, I guess I understand it, but I hate sharing the bathroom with them. I have to pee!
Also, children of Jamaican dignitaries marry! Reminds me of ita: [link]
Oh, god. I can never get married. My writeup wouldn't sound as cool as that. Well, the bit with my parents (dignitary!) would be okay. But I'd be letting the side down.
That's what I'll tell my mother when she next harasses me.
Oh, and I can haz cheezburger?
Thank god other people mis-heard, too! I wonder what made Charmed choose that as a theme song-- they were heirs, but it was about three sisters! I think there was a son later on....
