Such cute baby pics!!

I'm also vibing hard for a healthy Devi-cat.

Speaking of cats, wakey, wakey!! (Hilarious cartoon!)

Will someone tell me to finish cleaning my apartment now? My mom called to tell me she's not going to be able to meet me until this afternoon sometime, and since then, I've been putzing around on the computer instead of finishing the cleaning I was frantically doing before she called.

I am the worst procrastinator ever.

Hi Zen! It's good to see you round these parts. I hope for the most stress free transition as possible for you, your sister and your mother.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, god, me too. My current plan to get restarted is to do more in the kitchen while I heat up lunch. And then hope to get back up after eating said lunch. I'm watching Season 2 So You Think You Can Dance on MTV, but I'm skipping so much of the bullshit that I keep catching up with the recording, so that should help too.

Well, I've got the living room and dining room all picked up and vacumned, the kitchen all done except for the floor, and the bedroom picked up and the sheets stripped off the bed. However, I still have to do the kitchen floor, all of the bathroom, vacumn the hall and bedroom, and then shower, get some quarters from the manager's office, do my laundry, flip the mattress and make the bed (that might wait until my mom's here to help with the flipping). So, I'm about halfway there, and not too energized to do that much.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We were out hearing a friend's band at the Farmer's Market last night and J ran into a guy he knew in New York. The guy was attending a friend's birthday party there. He introduced us to her and she was very nice and invited us to join her party (which we couldn't because we had movie tickets). Who was this friend? Melanie Mayron! Yes, Melissa from Thirtysomething! I LOVED that show and was all googly inside.

I need to get dressed, run a couple of errands and go pick up my friend for the football game this afternoon.

I'm kind of excited, because while yeah, it's the Cowboys, and I'm not a fan. They're having a good season and have had some interesting games. I haven't been to a live game since before Katrina and I'm looking forward to all the noise and crowd and smell. Plus, it's waaaaay to gorgeous outside to be in a dark smoky bar watching the game.

My friend just broke up with his boyfriend, so he had an extra ticket his law firm gave him, so they should be pretty good seats.

Yay football!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Feeling the envy, DJ. It's a fucking gorgeous day here too.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sushi Fish must be Fresh

Video. This is rather gross. Sushi in a restaurant that's so fresh it's not quite dead yet....

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thanks, Robin and DJ.

I'm doing a months' worth of laundry. It might be easier to just go buy new clothes and underwear.
