Oh, the picture of the twins together made me all weepy. But then this one made me laugh out loud, so it all evens out.
Dylan is too distractable to nurse this morning, so I'm pumping while DH is in the other room wubba-wubba-ing his tummy and making him laugh really loudly. Soon we shall head out to dim sum. And I uploaded new pictures this week from when my parents were here. Buffistas will be happy to know that Dylan's favorite pre-reader-can-be-chewed-upon book features a monkey.
Dylan is also Too Cute.
I can't for the life of me wake up today. It's Saturday though, so I don't know that I'm going to keep trying.
Devi now is on flagyl and reglan, has had sub-q hydration just to be safe, has had blood drawn, a special bland food and GOT REALLY PISSED OFF at the vet, intern and tech.
I pleaded for injectibles, but unfortunately, one has to be mixed in a suspension liquid per weight, and the other they aren't authorized to dispense it in injectible form, so pills. Damnit. This will be interesting.
Oh & I have to get a fecal sample. FUN.
But Monte the office cat visited while Devi was off getting pissed off, and I got to talk to Shelley who reminds me of Abby on NCIS.
I'm kinda tired.
Ugh, sarameg. I hope he and you recover soon.
(Devi's a she.) Oh & she's 8.9 lbs (though I do think that's on the light side, since she hasn't kept anything down in 24 hours) and is now dutifully holding down the floor in the kitchen, leaking fluids all over and acting uninterested in the special food, sigh. She'll get hungry enough, though.
She has no memory, so within 30 seconds of getting home, she was over the whole trauma. Which was kinda funny.
You know, I knew that, about Devi. See above about me not being able to wake up.
I wish Ozzie would do that. He hissed at me a few days ago when I picked up his crate.
Devi hides in the carrier. Very convenient.
I need to eat lunch.
Ozzie did that for a while, which was nice, but hasn't since the crash and burn.
