River: They weren't cows inside. They were waiting to be, but they forgot. Now they see the sky and they remember what they are. Mal: Is it bad that what she said made perfect sense to me?

'Safe'

Natter 54: Right here, dammit.

(Devi's a she.) Oh & she's 8.9 lbs (though I do think that's on the light side, since she hasn't kept anything down in 24 hours) and is now dutifully holding down the floor in the kitchen, leaking fluids all over and acting uninterested in the special food, sigh. She'll get hungry enough, though.

She has no memory, so within 30 seconds of getting home, she was over the whole trauma. Which was kinda funny.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You know, I knew that, about Devi. See above about me not being able to wake up.

I wish Ozzie would do that. He hissed at me a few days ago when I picked up his crate.

Devi hides in the carrier. Very convenient.

I need to eat lunch.

Ozzie did that for a while, which was nice, but hasn't since the crash and burn.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Devi now is on flagyl and reglan

Hey! I get reglan too. For some reason the Santa Monica hospital doesn't give me compazine like my doctor requests, and swaps reglan in instead, or sometimes phenergan.

Maybe you should have taken me to your vet.

Lovely baby pics, all.

I just called and cancelled my acupuncture appointment, because it feels insurmountable. Bad thing is I'm scheduled to teach at 11:30. But maybe if it's the only thing I do today, I can make it through.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Errands are done: vet for food, post office (getting and sending), lunch (BK), pumpkin patch, and meeting friend to get wallet.

Endashaw got to choose his pumpkin and he got a big one. not the biggest one, but over a foot tall.

Soemone was coming by to look at a vintage Coca Cola cooler I had listed on craigslist, but he decided no. Ugh, must go list it again and lower the price. - relisted, fingers crossed.

off to Target and mall to look for additions to batman Halloween costume.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Noah and Grace together are a doubly deadly dose of adorable.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Photos from Baby's First Dim Sum.

So much fun! I'd actually never been to Brooklyn's Chinatown before, but this place was made of awesome. It was REALLY busy, but they sat us right away, and the food was terrific and not too greasy. Highly recommend for any NYCistas convenient to Sunset Park! (Pacificana was the name of the restaurant.)
