I'm getting ready for the party we're throwing in our office at 6 tonight. I think I bought half of Safeway in preparation. Throwing parties for theater people has really skewed my perceptions of what is necessary for a party.

Kitchen ceiling update: I called the landlord first thing this morning, who left a message on my phone telling me the plaster guy was on his way.
This evening: at least someone cleaned up all the bits of ceiling in the kitchen, shame there's still a big unstable hole in the ceiling. Sigh. No message left.
I would be upset if this didn't give me a reason for ordering in again.
